Quick Draw belt clip.
A
very useful product came from the improbably named Quick Draw Clip Systems
of Ventura, CA. A screw goes into the camera’s tripod
socket, and the head of this screw engages very securely indeed in a stainless
steel belt clip. There have of course
been many camera belt clips, but unlike most of them, this one actually works;
you don’t worry about the camera falling off or getting stolen. The release is quick but positive. It can be used for still cameras, video
cameras or even for those lenses which have their own tripod sockets.
